The staff at St Matthew’s are a multi faith team characterised by our mission statement: ‘Living and Learning in the Love of God’ and united by our whole school values which are how we live out our Christian vision.

Our Aims

At St Matthew's we aim to:

• Through the light of faith, uphold the distinctive Christian ethos of our school whilst valuing our multi-faith community.
• Nurture the light within our children so they make good choices, take ownership of their learning and are proud of their achievements.
• Enable each other’s light to shine by building relationships where children, parents and staff are valued and we all learn together.
• Empower our children so they recognise their light and respect the contribution that they and others make to the world.
