Animals Including Humans
During this topic children looked at what animals and humans need in order to survive.
After researching and investigating children found out that both animals and humans need:
water, food and air.
Children also focused on the importance of eating the right amount of different food. We looked at the 5 different food groups.
Plants
During this topic children investigated what plants need in order to grow healthy.
Children carried out a comparative test with some cress seeds. Children planted four pots with cress seeds.
Plant pot 1: No light, water and soil.
Plant pot 2: Light, water and soil.
Plant pot 3: No water, soil and light.
Plant pot 4: No soil, water and light.
