Hello everyone! We have two wonderful Year 2 classes who are taught by Miss McMahon, Miss Mahmood, Miss Wilkes and Mrs Amphlett and supported by Mrs Raybould.

Welcome Year 2!

For the first few days of school, we have been busy getting to know our new classes and children have been so happy meeting their friends. 

We have also been doing some very exciting activities in Year 2. We have been creating bookmarks to use and learning about the importance of reading. The children have also been sharing their favourite books to each other. 

Children have also been thinking about what they would like to do this year. For example, getting their bronze badge (once they know their 2, 5 and 10 times tables along with the division facts), practising their football skills, making new friends, reading more exciting books etc. The children wrote what they would like to do this year and drew a picture of themselves.
