    • Year 6

    Hello and welcome to our Year 6 page. We will be filling this page with exciting class news, pictures of things we have done and much more. We hope you enjoy looking at all the learning we do!

    • Our PE days are Tuesday and Friday. Children must come to school in their PE kit. We will be going swimming in the Summer Term.
    • Our spelling day is on a Friday. Spellings will be given out and the previous week's tested each Thursday. 
    • Home learning will also be given out each Friday. It is due to be handed back in on the following Wednesday. 
    • Year 6 SATs:
      • Monday 11th May - Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling
      • Tuesday 12th May - Reading 
      • Wednesday 13th May - Maths Paper 1 (Arithmetic test) and Maths Paper 2 (Reasoning)
      • Thursday 14th May - Maths Paper 3 (Reasoning)

    Spring 1 2026: 

    Monday 5th January - INSET day (school closed to pupils)

    Tuesday 6th January - Spring 1 term starts, children return to school

    Friday 13th February - Break up for February half-term

    Every Tuesday: Year 6 PE

    Every Friday: Year 6 PE

    Spring 2 2026: 

    Monday 23rd February - Spring 2 term starts. Children return to school

    Thursday 5th March - World Book Day

    Tuesday 10th March - Science Inspire workshop (1:30pm)

    Wednesday 25th March - Parents evening

    Friday 27th March - Break up for the Easter holidays (finish at 1pm)
