Black History Month

This year we have been learning about famous black people who have made a difference in the world of science, sport, entertainment, space, literature, the media and the arts. Some of the people that children have learnt about include: Guion Stewart Bluford, Althea Gibson, Usain Bolt, George Washington Carver, Ann Lowe, Bob Marley, Kara Walker, Malorie Blackman, Marcus Rashford, Oprah Winfrey, Barack Obama and Trevor McDonald.
