At St Matthew's we aim to:

• Through the light of faith, we uphold the distinctive Christian ethos of our school whilst valuing our multi-faith community.
• Nurture the light within our children so they make good choices, take ownership of their learning and are proud of their achievements.
• Enable each other’s light to shine by building relationships where children, parents and staff are valued, and we all learn together.
• Empower our children so they recognise their light and respect the contribution that they and others make to the world.
