Spring 2: Blast off!

Math: 

This term we are looking at exploring numbers to ten in depth. The children will be learning to recall doubles and number bonds. Below are some videos to help your child to remember their doubles and number bonds. We are also looking at odd and even numbers and beginning to learn about addition and subtraction.

Literacy:

In Drawing Club, the children will explore these stories in depth, exploring the characters and the setting. They will apply their Phonics Skills to write about their drawings.

Phonics:

In Phonics, the children will continue to build on their awareness of sounds and will begin to apply some of these sounds in their writing. Children will be encouraged to write short captions and simple sentences using some red words such as 'I', 'the', 'he', 'she', 'my' and 'to'.
