Science Policy

Our science policy at St Matthew's outlines a whole-school approach to the teaching and learning of science from the Early Years Foundation Stage through to Key Stage 2. It ensures a consistent, high-quality provision that promotes curiosity, investigation and a deep understanding of the world. The policy sets out how science is planned, delivered and assessed in line with the National Curriculum, to ensure progression of knowledge and skills across all year groups. It also reflects our school's commitment to developing pupils' scientific enquiry skills and fostering a lifelong enthusiasm for discovery and learning.
