Art and Design Policy

The purpose of our art and design policy, at St Matthew's, is to establish a clear and consistent approach to the teaching and learning of art and design across the whole school. It sets out how the subject supports pupils' creative, cultural and personal development, in line with the National Curriculum. Our policy ensures that art teaching provides a structured progression of skills, knowledge and techniques from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 2.
