INSPIRE (Parent Workshops)

At St Matthew’s we believe partnership with parents is vital to ensuring children are happy and making progress with their learning.  We run a number of groups which parents can join to support their children and the school.  Every term parents are invited to an INSPIRE workshop.   This is an opportunity for parents or other family members to learn more about what and how their children are learning in school and to work alongside their children on a range of activities including reading, writing, and art.  

Inspire Workshops autumn 2019

During this term you will have the opportunity to explore aspects of our new building and plan how it might be used. You will be able to share your ideas with your child's teacher and help your child shape their ideas so they might become a reality. How would you use the space in school? Would our children benefit from a new library, sensory room or music room? Come along and tell us what you would do.

Inspire Workshops summer 2019

During the INSPIRE workshops this term you will have the opportunity to meet your child’s new teacher. Please try to attend as not only will you be able to enjoy spending time with your child and supporting their learning but you’ll also get an insight into the next school year and what it may bring.
